Important News
Jun. 8th, 2006 06:30 pm* Flakey net at home (none for the past 54 hours, but back now). Flakey net at school.
* My cats caught and dismembered a mouse. (Not a local vole or shrewthing, a mouse, which suggests that not only did the evil neighbor freeze her snake, she let the feeder-mice go.) They then took turns carrying the carcas around the house until I realized what it was they were carrying, and took it away.
* I got my scores from the Praxis II: Middle School Content Knowledge test that I took at the end of April. Scaled score: 193/200 (passing 140, average 147 - 171).
Raw scores:
Literature: 27/30 (18-25)
Math: 29/29 (15-23)
Science: 30/30 (16-22)
Social Studies: 22/29 (14-20)
So. I think that's pretty much what I anticipated. In fact, looking back, I'd say that's exactly what I anticipated: LIterature - Did passably. Math - Aced it. Science - Aced it. Social Studies - Kicked my butt. Of course, 22/29 does not suck, but it still pretty much kicked my butt.
On the other hand, 193/200 seems perfectly reasonable. And even the Social Studies performance was above the average. So I guess that's okay.
What test should I take next? Maybe I'll review calc and go take the HS Math test. Or the General Science.
