Wow. That Was Cool.

(And worth pausing the productive packing to mention.)

I've always been somewhat dubious of the notion that my eyes (which change color) change based on reflection of what I'm wearing. I now have proof that what I'm wearing is certainly not the only factor.

I was standing in front of the bathroom mirror (brushing my teeth) and noticed that between the brushing and the spitting my eyes appeared to have gotten less green. So I kept watching. As I watched. As I /watched/ my eyes went from green to grey back to hazel and then back to grey. Wow. That was so freakin' cool.

Guest Starring Who?

So, while I'm packing (or, at the moment, procrastinating) I have the TV on. And I'm listening to Monk (which is not quite as radio-drama as Law & Order, but it mostly works with just the audio) and there's a voice I recognize. I can't quite place it, but when I look at the screen, the speaking party is turned away from the camera. She turns around, and oh she's familiar, but who? And then she smiles, and the quirk of the lip is the final clue. Duh. Emma Caufield. Nifty!
