It's that time again. Time for me to spend an entire day procrastinating about writing, and then sit down and hammer out a story that may or may not have any redeeming qualities, send it off to a group of strangers who will judge its merits and, after a month, either post my name as a winner, or fail to post my name.

Why do I do this, again?

On the other hand, for the third time in a row I've found that there seems to be a magical 12 hour mark after which I actually know what story I'm trying to write.

So why am I here, writing to you, instead of writing my story? Because the magical 12 hour mark does not prevent my very strong procrastination instinct from continuing to function normally.

Besides, it was important for you to know all of this. Right?
